Dr. Stephen Brandenburg continues with his 25th year of clinical practice at 6490 Stage Road in Bartlett.
Dr. Brandenburg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Prior to receiving his doctorate in chiropractic, Dr. Brandenburg earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa.
During his academic years at Iowa State University, Dr. Brandenburg served as a senator for the student government. He also was selected as scholarship chairman of his fraternity. At the University of Iowa, Dr. Brandenburg was elected representative from the graduate school to the student government. During his tenure at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Brandenburg was elected class representative to the student council, later appointed parliamentarian, elected to Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, elected president of Delta Delta Pi professional fraternity and appointed chairman of the student judiciary committee.
During his 25 years of practice, Dr. Brandenburg has treated patients as young as 6 weeks old and as young as 91 years old. Dr. Brandenburg reflects by observing the young children he treated at the start of his practice now entrust him to care for their sons and daughters.
Dr. Brandenburg participates in continuing education seminars to further his professional capabilities to treat patients and teach them self help ways.
Dr. Brandenburg employs current health care methodologies to effectively treat and rehabilitate his patients. Dr. Brandenburg utilizes physical therapies, strength training exercises, manipulation and decompression traction. Dr. Brandenburg recognizes the uniqueness of each individual. Dr. Brandenburg consults with other medical specialists and makes timely referrals as particular cases may require.
